The Practical Applications of Video Zoom Microscopy
Thursday, August 2nd, 2007Video zoom microscopy can be considered as one of the many breakthroughs in modern microscopy applications. Indeed, tracing back from the time that the first ever microscope was invented up to the present time, microscopy technology had certainly come a long way. Simple microscopes are now replaced by compound ones, and then a lot of other technologies are being infused into them all for the benefit of better viewing experience. Right now, with the development of video zoom microscopy, eyepieces are replaced by CCD cameras so that observation of samples can be done with the use of a full screen monitor, instead of peeping through a small hole.
